About Us

Background and Mission

The Plymouth Area Prevention Collaborative consists of three communities and the coalitions that serve them: PYDC in Plymouth, Middleboro Matters in Middleboro, and Carver Cares in Carver.  The coalitions and collaborative is made up of volunteers serving in the three towns to promote advocacy and working effortlessly to reduce the stigma associated with substance use disorders.

Our mission is to mobilize our communities to strategically prevent and reduce substance use and misuse among youth and adults across the cluster.

Our goals are to provide primary, secondary and tertiary substance misuse prevention resources, education, increase awareness and support, and reduce stigma within our cluster.
