Sticker Shock Campaign

What is Sticker Shock?

A Sticker Shock Campaign is a project where the community, youth and alcohol retailers all work together to combat minors getting access to alcohol.  With these sectors partnering, they create a message, which is then printed onto stickers and placed on products in stores.  The messaging is geared towards adults to stop them from purchasing alcohol for minors.

The Plymouth Cluster has formed a Sticker Shock Campaign Planning group to help mobilize and organize youth and retail locations in the community to fight against social access.  Youth are gaining access to alcohol from of age family or friends.  By creating relationships with retailers of alcohol, we will work with them to place messaging in their stores to dissuade adults from buying alcohol for minors.  Youth across the cluster will be helping to engage the stores and create the messaging.
